Gail Diane Benge, 66, of Morocco, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Gail was a vibrant and compassionate soul who found joy in the simplest of pleasures. She spent countless hours tending to her yard, rescuing lost and/or abused dogs, riding motorcycles, and savoring coffee in the Smokey Mountains. Her love for life was evident in all she did, and her adventurous spirit was an inspiration to many.
Gail was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her devoted husband and soulmate of 46 years, Terry Benge; her two sons, Travis and Justin; and her cherished grandchildren, Hailey, Travis Jr., Wrigley, Clark, Addison, and Ivy. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Gail is also survived by her three siblings, Ron, Sandy, and Roberta, as well as many loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gail was a free spirit who never backed down from anything, a testament to the last days she spent on this earth. Her family and friends will forever remember her warm heart, infectious personality, and the light she brought into their lives. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Rest in peace, Gail. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
