John Jovanco Sekuloski, age 56, was born on March 4th, 1968 in Ohrid, Yugoslavia. When John was four he came to America with his family.
John is survived by his wife Jennifer Sekuloski, sons Christopher (Natalie) Sekuloski, Michael (Elizabeth) Sekuloski, Benjamin Sekuloski, and daughter Abigail (Abram) Enzinas; brothers, Louie (Marie) Sekuloski, Eli (Ilona Mayer) Sekuloski; nephews, Matthew Sekuloski, Nicolas (Melissa) Sekuloski, Nathan Sekuloski, Lucas Sekuloski; nieces Marlana (Peter) Joshevska, Nicole Sekuloski, Stephanie Sekuloski; great niece Arianna Salinas; and aunt Blaga Minkovska. John is preceded in death by his mother, Trendafilka Sekuloska.
John graduated from Merrillville High School in 1986. For most of John’s adult life he was a semi truck driver and was widely known as “Big John”. He was known for his outgoing personality. He was involved in his sons’ boy scout troop and coached their Jr. Bulldog football team. He also had a love for fireworks which led him to earn his Pyrotechnic Certification and enjoyed putting on shows for his friends and family.
John will be greatly missed by his friends and family, but we all know we will see him again in Heaven.
