Jon “JD” Moore, age 43, of Walkerton, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
He was born on November 25, 1981 to Larry Moore and Kathy Quinn.Jon is survived by his wife, Crystal Moore; stepfather and dear friend, Jim Quinn; sister, Kourtnei Kellogg; stepbrother, Shawn Moore; stepsister, Dawn Turpin; and several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.Jon loved the outdoors, especially fishing and mushroom hunting. When he was able to, he enjoyed going to AA functions and met some good lifelong friends. Jon liked to stay busy with special projects and would always lend a hand to those in need. Jon was also very passionate with his writing skills. He liked to find solace and peace in poem writing with his favorite being published. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Quinn and his grandparents, Harold and Ima Kellogg.Jon will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Crystal, my heart goes out to you in this difficult time! Please know that you have people to turn to if you should need anything! Please don't hesitate to reach out, you know how to get hold of me. To the rest of the family, the same applies! Since Kathy passed, Jon told me many times that he looked to me as a mother figure since I was known to him and Kourtnei as aunt Pati since they were born. He will be missed! But I have to believe he is happy now! JD, may you RIP!
