Ronald Lee Arndt Jr., age 53 of Michigan City, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 in his home.
He was born on January 21, 1968 in Valparaiso, IN to Ronald Lee Arndt Sr. and Nancy Darlene (Clark) Arndt, both of whom preceded him in death.
Ron is survived by his partner, Rob Tate of Michigan City, IN; Alisha (Morgan) Reynolds of Franklin, IN; Angela and Jordan Morgan of Michigan City, IN; Stacy (Kevin) Scott of Atlanta, GA; and by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was also preceded in death his sister Sherri Lynn (Arndt) Richardson-Williams in 2019.
Ron spent most of his career in various roles at Long Term Care Facilities. In 2003, he became a Licensed Heath Facility Administrator. He was most recently the Executive Director at South Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gary, IN. Ron was the Chairman for Pride Charities, a non-profit that assisted people with HIV. He was also a volunteer for PFLAG in Michigan City, IN.
Ron loved spending his spare time with his family and friends. He loved the many trips he took to Pigeon Forge, TN with friends. He enjoyed spending his free time at his camper at the Rising Sun Campground in Monterey, IN. Ron was a great host of events and was very into interior design. Nobody better get in the way of him and his many beautiful Christmas trees that he spent countless hours on perfecting.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. More information will be made available in time.
